And the Word<\/em> was made flesh and dwelt among us.<\/strong>\u00a0The One who caused the world to exist, the One who sustains it by His power, the One who spoke us into being —\u00a0He\u00a0<\/em>became flesh.<\/p>\n

And the Word was made<\/em> flesh and dwelt among us.\u00a0<\/strong>The Maker was made. The Word that spoke everything <\/em>into existence, was conceived by the Holy Ghost and grew inside His mother’s womb.<\/p>\n

And the Word was made flesh<\/em> and dwelt among us.<\/strong> He\u00a0started as a tiny cluster of cells in a young woman’s womb. He grew tiny fingers and tiny toes. His little heart beat, His eyes were formed, His legs stretched against the walls of His dark home, and one night His young mother labored to bring Him into the world.<\/p>\n

He was nursed and bathed and changed. He outgrew His clothes. He worked and played. He grew tired. He cried. He was human, just like us.<\/p>\n

And the Word was made flesh and dwelt<\/em> among us.\u00a0<\/strong>He lived on His earth. He lived in a town. He had neighbors and siblings and teachers and friends.<\/p>\n

And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among<\/em> us.\u00a0<\/strong>He lived in our midst — not in a palace, but in a humble village. He came to shepherds, He held children on His lap, He ate with people that others despised. He was God with\u00a0<\/em>us.<\/p>\n

And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong>Think on this! Here is why we celebrate! Jesus came and lived with us!\u00a0<\/em>He came to save us, to redeem us from sin, to bring us back into fellowship with His Father, to make us His brothers and sisters, equal heirs with\u00a0Him!<\/em><\/p>\n

Take time to stop and wonder over this amazing truth.\u00a0The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us!\u00a0<\/em>Rejoice!<\/p>\n
