Whose kids?

See if this changes your perspective:

Print this poster out.

Post it in a prominent place where you will see it often throughout the day.

Start your day by thanking God for the privilege of being His representative in the lives of your children. Thank Him for entrusting His children into your care. Pray for His wisdom and strength.

If your children are really God’s children, what does He want you to do with them? What does He want you to say to them? What does He want you to teach His children?

Make a point of using every opportunity to point them to their Father — not just when you’re disciplining them, but all through the day. Show them how good He is. He loves them.¬†Help them see all the little demonstrations of that love.

Help them fall in love with Him. Loving Him will change their hearts. And changed hearts are what God wants.

  1. Amen!
It’s so important to be reminded of this basic fact that we know but often lose sight of.
We can rest in Him for our childrens’ futures since He loves them even more than we do!

  2. Pam,
I leave this email/post open as a reminder of just whose children they are. Even when they are 27.
