Who will win the contest?

Stenciling Scripture on the wallWell, the “Write Them on the Doorposts” contest is coming to a close. You sent us almost 900 photos, and it’s been very hard to choose the winners. We’ve actually decided to add a few more categories and awards, due to the number of photos entered!

Tonight, between 5 and 7 PM PST, the contest winners for each award will be posted here on the blog. We’ll also post a selection of contest entries (unfortunately we can’t post them all!), and we hope you’ll enjoy seeing all the fun and creative ways that folks have found to decorate their homes with Scripture.

We’re also hosting a Facebook Party on Doorposts’ Facebook page this evening to celebrate the end of the contest!

We’d love for you all to come to our house, for a party with cookies and punch, to look through all the photos that were entered and chat with other folks who entered the contest. Since we can’t do that, this is the next best thing! You might want to bring your own cookies, but we’ll provide the pictures, discussion starters, party favors, and door prizes. Between 5 and 7 PM (PST) this evening, we’ll be announcing the contest awards and giving away door prizes. We’ll also be sharing many of the contest photos, and talking about different ways of decorating our homes with Scripture. You’re welcome to come, ask questions, comment on photos, and meet new people. It’s going to be lots of fun!

Our door prizes include books, wood carvings, gift certificates, and other goodies from:

  • Doorposts
  • Grace and Truth Books
  • My Audio School
  • Raising Real Men
  • Heritage History
  • A Journey Through Learning
  • Renew Carvings
  • New Millennium Girl Books
  • Youthful Homemaker
  • True Christian Motherhood
  • Vintage Handmade Soaps
  • Me & My House ministries
  • Homeschool Enrichment Magazine
  • Gathering Wood
  • Exodus Books

(Giveaways will stay open until midnight (PST) on Wednesday, so if you can’t make the party, you still have a chance to enter.)

To attend the party, just visit Doorposts’ Facebook page between 5-7 PM PST (8-10 PM EST), and start reading and commenting. I hope you can come!
